Playing an American oil rig worker visiting his daughter in southern France, Matt Damon is paired with French actress Camille Cottin in the edgy thriller "Stillwater". Meanwhile, filmmaker François Ozon tackles a matter of life and death in "Everything Went Fine", his adaptation of a memoir recounting the challenges and poignant ironies involved in efforts to carry out an assisted suicide in France.
