Gaëlle was at the Bataclan concert hall with her partner on November 13, 2015. When the terrorists opened fire, both of them were hit. He died by her side, as she lay seriously wounded, playing dead. She survived but lost most of her jaw. Scarred for life but grateful to be alive, Gaëlle tells us her story. "I'm lucky to still be here," she says. "I've kept things in perspective: I could have died. I'll bear the marks for the rest of my life, including on my face and arm. But I'm moving forward. Things will be different but I'm still here. That's priceless."
