And where is France in the race to develop a vaccine and potential treatments? We look at what work has been done so far in France to develop a safe, effective vaccine against Covid-19.
And to gain a deeper understanding of what's at stake, we head to INSERM, the National Institute for Health and Medical Research, where we meet Marie-Paule Kieny, a virologist and vaccinologist. She is currently advising the French government on Covid-19 research.
