In Covid-19 vaccine race, Palestinians are left out in the cold

Israel has vaccinated a higher proportion of its population against the coronavirus than any other country in the world. It has been transporting large volumes of the Covid-19 vaccine deep inside the West Bank but up until this point, they have only been distributed to Jewish settlers. Dr. Gerald Rockenschaub from the WHO office in the occupied Palestinian Territories explain how they are working with officials to help distribute doses to Palestinians.
Also, Iran is scaling back its commitments to the 2015 nuclear deal. Tehran has announced that it has resumed enriching uranium at 20 percent. Observers say the move is designed to create a sense of urgency in Washington, where a new president is due to take office within weeks.
Finally, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have agreed to reopen their borders. The announcement comes three years after a political crisis between the two countries, which has fractured the Arab world.
