Novels, poetry, plays, crime fiction and comics – FRANCE 24 launches VICE VERSA, a weekly programme that invites English-speaking TV viewers to discover French authors of every genre.

Presented in English by Olivier Barrot, VICE VERSA reviews books of every kind, originally written in French and translated into English. Every week, a new literary postcard from the land of French culture.

This new short programme will also feature animated illustrations accompanying the presenter throughout this shirt trip into French texts.

The first programme is about David Foenkinos's novel, Delicacy, which has won nine literary prizes and has been translated into 15 languages.

According to Olivier Barrot, "French books are doing well. They are translated into all languages, English particularly."

VICE VERSA will be present at the Salon du Livre from the 16th to the 19th of March in Paris on the Centre National du Livre stand.
