Turkey: 2000 policemen, hundreds of military members dismissed by decree
Issued on: Modified:
The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan is continuing his purge following the attempted coup d'Etat in July. Two more decrees have been issued today, one of which introduces penal reform, which would set loose 38.000 convicts. No reasons have been given for the decree, but thoughts were that it should free jail space for the thousands arrested.
