Argentine navy has called off search for submarine survivors

Dashing the last glimmer of hope for their loved ones, the Argentine navy has called off its search for survivors of the San Juan submarine. It says the rescue effort continued for twice the time it was estimated they could have survived. The Ministry of Defence and the Argentine Navy are now going to search for the San Juan on the seabed. An international armada of rescue ships and aircraft has been hunting for the submarine, since it went missing over two weeks ago. President Mauricio Macri has promised a full investigation.
