More than 100 dead in Philippine mudslides triggered by tropical storm Tembin

Tropical Storm Tembin has lashed the nation's second-largest island of Mindanao since Friday, triggering flash floods and mudslides. More than 100 people are dead and one farming village has been completely swept off the map. The storm has hit Mindano just one week after another deadly storm. On average, the Philippines are hit by 20 tycoons every year. The deadliest was four years ago killing 8,000 people and leaving 200,000 families homeless.
