Liberians vote on Tuesday to choose their next president: either former international footballer George Weah or Vice President Joseph Boakai. In the first round of voting in October, Weah got 38 percent while Boakai got 29 percent. As 50 percent is needed to win outright, there is a run-off election today. This is the third time that Weah has stood in a presidential election. He lost the first two times but has a better chance today. As FRANCE 24's foreign editor, Robert Parsons, says, "This looks as if it could be Weah's time."
