Cambodian grassroots movement mobilises farmers for general election

Cambodia''s main opposition party was dissolved by the Supreme Court last year, leaving only inexperienced candidates to face Prime Minister Hun Sen''s ruling Cambodian People''s Party (CPP). In the rural province of Takeo, a young movement has tried to mobilise farmers for the general elections. It''s leader was murdered two years ago, so everyone involved has been extremely careful when campaigning. The group hopes to ''reactivate democracy in Cambodia''.
