Musk tweet costs Tesla 20 million in SEC settlement

Elon Musk will step down as chairman of Tesla and pay a 20 million dollar fine, in a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. He will remain as CEO of the company. The SEC sued Musk for securities fraud on Thursday, claiming he mislead investors with a tweet in August that said he'd secured funding to take the electric carmaker private.
