Another crushing defeat for Theresa May: following weeks of renegotiations in Brussels, her new proposal on how best to exit the European Union on the 29th of March was overwhelmingly rejected. "I profoundly regret the decision that the House has taken tonight. I continue to believe that by far the best outcome is that the United Kingdom leaves the European Union in orderly fashion with a deal.
