Musée d'Orsay show explores representation of black models in French art

After four months at Columbia's Wallach Art Gallery in New York, the exhibition "Posing Modernity: Black Models from Géricault to Matisse" is showing at Paris' Musée d'Orsay.Through a cross-disciplinary exploration of more than 200 works of art, the exhibit look at how depictions of people have been constructed, deconstructed and reconstructed over time.
