Sudan ends civil disobedience campaign to negotiate with military

A nationwide strike was launched on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in a campaign to force the ruling military government to restore Sudan to civilian administration. The end of the campaign was announced on Tuesday with a call for people to "resume work from Wednesday," and hold onto hope for successful negotiations with military leaders.
