US Opiod Crisis: "OxyContin is one of the most easily abused drugs"

Dr. Ford Vox, a physician specializing in brain injury at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, spoke to France 24 after the big pharmaceutical company Johnson &Johnson was fined a $572m fine in a court verdict in Oklahoma for fuelling the state's addiction crisis. While "most of the responsibility" for the opiod crisis "lies with the doctors," Dr. Vox said, "governments have a major role."
