Boris Johnson's prorogation of the British Parliament was unlawful. Such was the conclusion of the country's Supreme Court's long-awaited ruling, presented on Tuesday. Liberal Democrat MP Angela Smith welcomes the Court's decision, as it will "allow for continuing scrutinizing" the Prime Minister. "If he attempts to take the UK out of the European Union without a deal, then Parliament will act,” she says.
