Hundreds of protesters leave Hong Kong university, scores remain

A big clean-up operation is taking place in Hong Kong today after police on Monday used almost 1,500 tear gas canisters and more than 1,000 rubber bullets at the campus of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dozens of of people are still holed up inside, but according to Hong Kong's leader Carrie Lam, 600 people have left the campus. Minors were let go, but the others could be charged with rioting, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison. Peter O'Brien reports.
