The stars and stripes banner has been fluttering in joy during a thanksgiving rally this Thursday after the US President inked two congressional bills in support of the pro-democracy movement there. China has reacted angrily to Trump's move, with the foreign minister in Beijing speaking of firm counter measures that will be taken against Washington.
