Hong Kong announces new quarantine measures
Hong Kong announced strict new measures to halt the spread of Coronavirus just hours before they came into force: all those coming from China will be expected to self-quarantine for two weeks, confining themselves to their homes or hotel rooms and expected to ask family members to bring them food. The news triggered long queues in Shenzen on Friday night as people tried to come in to Hong Kong before the tough new restrictions came in. Although Coronavirus has only killed one person in Hong Kong so far, it's only one of two deaths to happen outside of China. There have been dozens of identified cases, fuelling calls for a total border shut down.
