France sees rise in child abuse reports requiring urgent attention during coronavirus lockdown

France is encouraging its residents to call 1-1-9 if they suspect an instance of child abuse. The director of the 24-hour emergency line says the number of calls didn't change in the first two weeks of the country's coronavirus lockdown, but calls requiring urgent attention rose by 30 percent.
