War-torn Libya’s unity government declares virus lockdown

With only a few dozen confirmed cases, Libya’s infection rate is low compared to neighbouring countries, at least for now. The country’s national unity government has imposed a lockdown from Friday in the territory it controls, to stop shops and other activities during the day. Meanwhile in the rebel-controlled east, residents live under a night-time curfew.
