Global infections of coronavirus have topped three million, and the death toll continues to rise. In Africa and India, confirmed cases are doubling every less than two weeks. In Western Europe, governments in Italy, Spain and France, are easing lockdown amid signs the virus has peaked. Meanwhile the United States, with one million cases, is the world’s worst hit country, and authorities fear a second wave due to some states lifting stay-at-home orders.
