Although Mustafa Al-Kadhimi managed to get his cabinet approved by Iraq’s Parliament, the new government could be unable to calm the country’s unrest, as Iraqi protesters have not been impressed by previous efforts. After achieving the resignation of the previous PM, the protest movement did not get its demands listened to and could consider this new cabinet as “business as usual”, FRANCE 24’s international editor Arman Georgian reports.
