Key 2015 Paris terror attack suspect target of new counterterrorism probe

The partner of one of the 2015 Paris terror attackers is the target of a new terror investigation. Hayat Boumeddiene is believed to be alive and is suspected to have fled to the Iraqi-Syrian border shortly before the Charly Hebdo and Hyper Casher attacks, partly perpetrated by her boyfriend Amedy Coulibaly. She was detained in October 2019, but managed to escape from the Syrian prison camp where she was being held.
