EU countries wonder when to reopen external borders past Covid-19 pandemic

As EU countries are gradually reopening its internal borders, many wonder when Europeans will be able to travel overseas again and when the continent will reopen to visitors. Ministers of the 27 EU states are holding a videoconference on how and when to reopen, as it is “vital” to the continent’s content: tourism represents 10% of the EU economic output, as FRANCE 24’s European Affaires editor Catherine Nicholson explains. “It could open up pretty soon”, she adds.
