Internal EU free travel ‘up and running by the end of June’ as Covid-19 pandemic winds down

As EU countries are gradually reopening its internal borders, many wonder when Europeans will be able to travel overseas again and when the continent will reopen to visitors. Ministers of the 27 EU states are holding a videoconference on how and when to reopen, as it is “vital” to the continent’s content: tourism represents 10% of the EU economic output. EU authorities promise free travel between member states should be back by the end of June.
