French President Emmanuel Macron has rebuked Turkey over its intervention in Libya. Ankara correspondent Jasper Mortimer says the exchange follows a confrontation between the navies of the two Nato allies on June 10. Attention is now focused on the Libyan city of Sirte, with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Saturday saying his country has a legitimate right to intervene militarily if Tripoli’s forces take the city held by eastern military leader Khalifa Haftar.
