Victory Day parade in Moscow ahead of vote on controversial constitutional reforms
Issued on: Modified:
More than 14,000 troops marched in the Red Square in Moscow to mark the 75th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over the Nazis. It had been due to be held last month but was cancelled as countries around the world entered lockdown. The parade is being held just one day ahead of a poll on constitutional reform, which would enable President Putin to stay in power for two more terms, until 2036.
