In Northern Myanmar, a giant landslide at a jade mine has left at least 113 people dead, according to authorities, after heavy rain caused a wave of mud. Although a warning was issued forbidding to work in the area, many Burmese ignored it. “The death toll is expected to rise”, FRANCE 24’s regional correspondent Daniel Quinlan reports.
