Mexico hits new record of coronavirus cases as President meets Trump
Issued on:
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador visited Washington and US counter-part Donald Trump, in a visit that many of his countrymen disapproved, since the US President often insulted Mexicans. But López Obrador said that all he got from Trump was understanding and respect. The talks were the first face-to-face meeting and came a week after the new North-American trade pact was launched. Canada’s Justin Trudeau, also part of the agreement, turned down the invitation.
