African immigrants set farming cooperatives in Italy and raise hope for better labour conditions

In Italy, a group of sub-Saharan African migrants has set up a farming cooperative, after its members were exploited as agricultural workers paid at bitterns and forced to live in poor conditions. Now they are able to make a living and contribute an important role in a country facing labour shortage. FRANCE 24’s Italy correspondent Natalia Mendoza was able to meet them and hear their stories.
