Bolivia’s interim president said she has tested positive for coronavirus. Jeanine Áñez broke the news in a video posted on Twitter, saying she would remain in quarantine for 14 days before taking another test. She is the second South American leader to be tested positive in the last days, after Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro announced his positive test results on Monday. Bolivia’s economy and workers have been hardly hit by the pandemic, as FRANCE 24’s reporters on the ground show.
