Disney World reopens despite record new infections in Florida

Florida passed the grim milestone of over 15,000 new coronavirus cases in one day. The Department of Health said Sunday the fight against the virus was ongoing, though suggested a renewed lockdown was not the solution. The US state has recorded 514 deaths in the past week alone. The surge comes as its major tourist attraction Disney World reopened to the public, albeit with new health measures in place. Some in the state, however, remain unconvinced about the virus risk.
