Verdict due in trial of ex-Nazi camp guard

A verdict is due today in the trial of ex-Nazi camp guard Bruno Dey, 94, accused of complicity in the murder of thousands during World War II when he was a SS tower guard at the Stutthof camp, near modern-day Gdansk in Poland. If convicted, he faces the prospect of spending the rest of his life behind bars, a sentence his lawyer says he will not survive.
