Renault reports 'devastating' half-year figures
Issued on:
French carmaker Renault has reported its biggest-ever half-year loss, with revenues slashed by one third. The company recorded over 7 billion euros in losses, compared with a profit of 970 million euros the same period last year. FRANCE 24 reporter Clovis Casali says the ‘devastating’ figures, even worse than analyst predictions, were described by new CEO Luca de Meo as a “disturbing wake-up call”.
