Israel to re-enter lockdown as new infections soar

Israel is set to re-enter a strict lockdown on Friday. Schools, restaurants, shopping centres and hotels will close, and most Israelis will not be allowed to travel more than 500 metres from their homes. The country is thought to have the second-highest rate of new infections in the world.
