Analysis: French terror attacks appear linked, but not coordinated

France is reeling after a knife attack in Nice left three people dead, including one who was decapitated, while in Avignon, police have shot dead a man who was wielding a weapon. The attacks are the latest in a litany of apparent terrorism attacks or attempted attacks in France over the last two months. Yan St-Pierre, counter-terrorism consultant, says it is likely the men acted alone, given the increased difficulty of planning and carrying out coordinated attacks.
