Israel includes teens in vaccination campaign, a rare choice among nations

Israel is expanding its Covid-19 vaccination drive, which will now include 16 to 18-year olds. The country has already the world’s fastest vaccine-distribution rate and is expecting to reopen its economy in February. Including young people in the vaccination plan is still a rare practice among countries, which have for now given the preference to the elder, with few exceptions, such as Indonesia. The first to be vaccinated in the Asian nation are aged 18-59.
