WHO sets new Covid-19 vaccination targets for world's poorest to end 'scandalous inequity'

The annual assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO) is on in Geneva, with world leaders attending it throughout the week, including French President Emmanuel Macron and German chancellor Angela Merkel, amid those trying to muscle up efforts to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The agency’s head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus pushed for ambitious goals, also “wanting at least 10% of the World’s population vaccinated by September”, FRANCE 24’s John Zarocostas reports from Geneva.
