Greece completes defensive wall on border with Turkey to stop asylum seekers

With thousands of Afgan refugees now expected to begin to try to make their way to Europe overland as they flee Taliban rule, Greece has completed a 40-km long fence along its border with Turkey in a bid to keep them out. The new physcal barrier, many years in the making, is set to be reinforced with new surveilalnces drones and cameras - overseen by some 250 additional border guards.
